You can verify the destination of any Bitly link by adding a plus symbol ("+") at the end of the URL.
Entering an address like bitly.is/meta and adding the "+" at the end will direct you to a page displaying the link's information. You can then click through to the destination page.

Bitly リンク URLの最後に + を追加するとリンク先を確認出来る事を今知りました(笑)
bitly.is/meta の様なアドレスの場合は bitly.is/meta+ をアドレスバーに入力すると画像の様なリンク情報のページが表示されます
今回チェックしたリンクは リンクが無効になっています。 と表示されたので(日本語で)、既に誰かが通報済かリンク先アドレスが無効になっているのかも
*この画面でリンク先情報のURLをクリックすると飛んでしまうので、怪しいサイトの場合はクリックしない様に注意
